Holiday House Pet Resort presented a $2,000 donation to Jeff and Liz Bekos on Saturday for the Hopefor Hails Fund. The money was raised through the pet resort’s HopeForHails Dog Wash Special.
In July 2013, Hailey Bekos – a student at Lenape Middle School – was diagnosed with Anti-NMDA Receptor Encephalitis, a rare and life altering disease destroying her brain cells. Hailey is now recovering at home, but spent several months at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia while her family lived at the Ronald McDonald House, a place Hailey once volunteered.
